I believe a good day, a healthy day, a cleansing day, is a day where you energize your body, mind, and soul.
Here is this week’s edition of Body+Mind+Soul Sunday– a 3 point list of things that have helped, challenged, informed, and inspired me and I hope they do the same for you.
A few months ago I bought a barbell and turned a small area of my garage into a training space. The barbell is a versatile piece equipment that works both my upper and lower body. I’ve enjoyed my barbell workouts so much I cancelled my gym membership.
You should read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Aside from being one of my favorite books, The Alchemist is written in such a simple and universal style that it cuts to the heart of what it means to be human. It will make you think about how you can achieve your goals and how perseverance is such an important, yet uncelebrated quality in our celebrated world.
